Women’s History Month runs each year in March in the UK and around the world and International Women’s Day is every 8th March.
There is a common belief that there is no paying audience for lesbian & bisexual film. We decided to do something about it and curate a shorts compilation that will be provided free to libraries, community groups and charities up and down the country to screen throughout March. We will also screen at our main festival event for International Women’s Day.
Safflicks Women’s History Month Festival is a hybrid film festival
We will have one in person screening in London in our cinema, and also offer online access for 30 days.
